Shudra (servant / support) is not the downtrodden person of the society as people generally think. They are very hardworking people and provide their services to others with the help of their legs. They are ready to follow the orders of their master. Shudra is one;

1.      Whose legs are strong.

2.     They make an infertile land into a fertile land with their hard work and feed the people.

3.     They play a vital role in the society as well as the economy. They run around to supply all the essential things. They are the pillars of the society.  

4.     They take care of every person in the family, and supply all the required things.

5.     To fulfill their obligation, they never take rest and work for long hours.

6.     They are individuals who are determined to help, overcome every obstacle and emerge victorious with their hard work.

7.      They can remain on their feet whole day and are suitable for jobs that involve such activities.

8.     In corporate world, when one meeting is over they run for another meeting and the third and the fourth is also scheduled. Only a person with very strong legs can do this.

No wonder that the Magha Nakshatra whose symbol is "throne" has been given the "Shudra" caste by the ancient sages. A king has to move from one place to another and observe everything for its proper functioning. When there is energy in the legs, such a person cannot sit quietly. This energy forces him to move and such a person is best suited for jobs where high movement is required.
